Just Chilling

From isolation I thought I’d share some tunes from the last mixtape that I couldn’t quite fit into the show. Some chilled out vibes and techno bombs on show today, read through to check out the artwork.

Joy Orbison — better (w/ léa sen) / This is a silky and shimmering tune, grooving through with a super catchy vocal that sits on the record sublimely. Just let this one wash over you!

Eònan — Mindbombing / Moving into the warehouse with a rampaging techno joint that simply doesn’t relent from start to finish. Powerful stuff!

blutrot — Dissociation On The Dancefloor / Hefty and intimidating from the very first kick drum but the raging and modulating bassline add that extra fierce layer to the production. Amazing atmosphere too.

Antigone — Lolytrance / Lovely blend of rave ready techno and feel good trance vibes. Feels nostalgic and heartwarming, proper 90’s banger yet being modern.

747 — Domain Expansion / Sensational rolling techno with dynamic arpeggiating sounds. Club ready, with continuous energy from the off.

TREN — Birthday / Heart-string pulling, awe-inspiring and beautiful are just some of the words that come to mind as this tune plays out. Gorgeous breakbeat and pads throughout. Brilliant closing record.

If you’ve enjoyed these tunes, you’ll love what’s featured in The House & Techno Show for January 2022.
